What If I Bring a Buyer?

Transparency matters. If a buyer comes to me interested in your home, I'll tell you right away and explain your options under Nova Scotia rules — nothing happens without your written consent.

If you'd prefer, I can refer that buyer to a trusted colleague so they have their own representation. Either way, you'll always know exactly where I stand.

You can ask that a buyer I bring have their own agent

Common questions about downsizing in the Valley

When is the right time to downsize my home?

The right time is usually before you're forced into it — while you can still choose the house, the neighbourhood and the closing date. If you're maintaining rooms you don't use, or the yard and stairs have become work instead of pleasure, that's the signal. We can plan it a year out with no pressure.

What low-maintenance homes are available in the Annapolis Valley?

Bungalows, semi-detached homes, townhouses, condos in Kentville and New Minas, and adult-lifestyle communities. In-town options in Berwick, Middleton and Wolfville let you walk to groceries and appointments — which matters more than square footage for most downsizers I work with.

How do I get the most equity out of my family home when downsizing?

Price it against what's actually selling, spend only on the repairs and cleaning that change a buyer's first impression, and time your listing to the season your buyers are looking. I give you a written net-proceeds estimate up front so the decision is a number, not a feeling.
